LANCASTER, OH (WCMH) – A $10,000 reward is now being offered for information leading to the person responsible for setting the fire that destroyed the old grandstand at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds.

The charred framework of the grandstand is all that’s left of the structure built nearly 110 years ago.

The fire happened in late September. At the time, firefighters called the fire suspicious.

A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to the identification of the person or people responsible.

Tips can be referred to Lancaster police Detective Kyle Mears at 740-687-6680 extension #3, press 4.
