COLUMBUS, Ohio — Marcus Baugh remembers the feeling as if it was not a full year ago. He remembers walking off the field at Ohio Stadium wondering what went wrong. Baugh, a tight end at Ohio State, knew exactly what had been lost as Michael Geiger booted the game-winning field goal for Michigan State last November. Baugh and his teammates left the field that night no longer the nation’s #1 team and no longer in line to make the College Football Playoff.

Saturday, for the first time since that night in Ohio Stadium, the Buckeyes will come face to face with the Spartans, this time in East Lansing. While the MSU season has been a stunning disappointment (3-7 overall, 1-7 in B1G) a win over the Buckeyes would create another landmark moment in the MSU program. The Spartans have beaten the Buckeyes in 2 of their past 3 meetings, including the 2013 B1G Championship Game.
