Man dies from injuries sustained in Fairfield County crash

LANCASTER, OH (WCMH) — A man has died three days after sustaining injuries during a crash in Fairfield County.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, at about 4:40pm, November 14, Cody L. Knox, 21, of Lancaster was driving southbound on High Street in a red 1992 Dodge Dakota, when he lost control of the vehicle while taking a curve. The truck drove off the roadway and struck a utility pole.
Knox was taken by helicopter to the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where he died, Thursday, from his injuries in the crash.

A passenger in the vehicle, Billy J. Paskins, 54, also of Lancaster, was hospitalized as well in the crash, and it listed in stable condition.
