Columbus police asking for information after woman found shot in the head

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Police are asking the public for help with information after a woman was found shot in the head in the Hilltop area.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, at about 10:16pm, Sunday, officers were called to the 300 block of S. Harris Avenue on the report of an unresponsive person lying in the alley, behind the garage.

When officers arrived on scene, they found Katrina S. Huber, 35, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head.

Huber was taken to Mt. Carmel West Hospital where she remains in extremely critical condition.

Police said there are no known motives, witnesses or suspects at this time.
