COLUMBUS (WTNH) — A major announcement is expected to be made on Monday, Nov. 21 in the Fight for $15.
That’s the effort to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour.
The announcement is expected to be about the movements’ plan to move forward following the election of Donald Trump.
That announcement will be made around 11 a.m. eastern time.
In September there was a Fight for $15 protest in Hartford.
Workers were calling on politicians to support a “moral policy agenda” that included living wages, union rights and racial justice.
Again Monday’s announcement is expected to be about the Fight for $15’s post-election plans.
