Holiday travel expected to crowd road, airways

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) – Ohioans traveling during Thanksgiving won’t be lonely on the roads.

The auto club AAA is predicting the highest Thanksgiving travel volume in Ohio since 2005.

AAA says more than two million Ohioans will be hitting the road on trips between Wednesday and the following Sunday.

The auto club also says about 90 percent of Ohio travelers will be driving to their destinations.

Meanwhile, the State Highway Patrol and Ohio Department are reminding drivers to buckle up and slow down while driving in construction zones.
