One person in stable condition after south Columbus shooting

COLUMBUS (WCMH)– Columbus police are investigating after a person was shot in south Columbus Tuesday night.

They received the call of a person being shot on the 700 block of Frebis Avenue around 11:40 pm.

The suspect reportedly left on foot from the scene and walked westbound.

The victim was found in the back of the residence and transported in stable condition to a local hospital.

The shooting remains under investigation.
