Bishop Hartley preparing to defend state championship

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Football Friday Nite covered 170 games this, the most we’ve ever covered.

And more area teams made it further in the playoffs than last year. But like last season, there’s only one team left come state championship weekend and that’s the Bishop Hartley Hawks.

Hartley will play Steubenville Friday at 3:00 pm in the Division IV state championship. It is a rematch from last year, won by Hartley 31-28, giving the program its third state title.
