Ohio State opens 2017 season Aug. 31 in Indiana

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — The Ohio State Buckeyes will kick off the 2017 football season on Thursday, Aug. 31 in Indiana.

The game was moved from Saturday, Sept. 2. Both Ohio State and Indiana agreed to the change.

This is the seventh time OSU will play the season opener on a day other than Saturday. It is only the third time the game will be played on a Thursday evening.

The kickoff time and televising network have yet to be determined.
