Police searching for southwest Columbus bank robber

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Police are asking for help tracking down a man who robbed a southwest Columbus bank on Monday.

Columbus police said a white man, believed to be in his 40s, entered the Chase Bank at 3500 Clime Road at about 11:14am Monday with a note. The note, which he passed to a bank teller, implied that he had a gun and demanded money. The man then fled the store.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call the Columbus Police Robbery Unit at 614-645-4665 or the Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-8477.
