Part of I-71 shut down in Delaware County after car, semi collide

DELAWARE CO., OH (WCMH) –Three lanes of I-71 northbound are now open after a crash between a car and a semi truck.

The highway is shut down at mile marker 125, between Polaris and the U.S. 36/37 exit. The Ohio Department of Transportation estimates all 3 northbound lanes will be open by 3:30pm Wednesday. Crews have also reopened I-270 at I-71 North.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says two people were transported to area hospitals with minor injuries. The semi was traveling southbound and reportedly drove into the northbound lanes.
