Homicide detectives investigate after body found in abandoned building

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Officials are investigating after a body was discovered in an east Columbus abandoned building.

Columbus police responded to a building near the intersection of Selkirk Road and Seabrook Avenue at about 6:30pm Saturday. When they arrived on scene, they found a door had been kicked in. Inside, a body was discovered.

Police have not released any information about the victim. The incident remains under investigation.
