One in critical condition following far east side shooting

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — One person is in critical condition following a shooting on the far east side of Columbus.

It happened around 3:19pm, on the 4900 block of East Livingston Avenue.

The victim was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition.

Officers are looking for two suspects. One was wearing all black and the other was wearing a white shirt and black sweatpants.

Both were last seen running from the area.

According to Columbus Recreation and Parks, 23 children participating in a camp and six staff members were in the park when the shooting happened. They were not in the area of the shooting and none were injured.

The campers were sent to a building on the north side of the park and will be bused to the Far East Community Center at 1826 Lattimer Drive.
