Southeast Columbus shooting victim upgraded to stable condition

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — The victim of a shooting in southeast Columbus has been upgraded to stable condition.

The shooting happened around 10:41pm during a vigil on Matuka Drive, just east of Falcon Bridge. According to Columbus Police,  officers found Dartangnan Hill, 41, lying in the grass next to the road suffering from a gunshot wound. 

Hill was taken to Grant Medical Center, where he is recovering in stable condition. Police have not released any suspect information at this time.
