Two people injured in southwest Columbus shooting

COLUMBUS (WCMH)– The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a shooting Wednesday night in southwest Columbus.

Deputies and medics were called to the area of 1001 Harrisburg Pike just before 10:30pm.

Deputies have confirmed that two men were shot. One victim was transported in stable condition, and the other is in critical condition. They were both taken to Mount Carmel West.

Officials say the men were walking on Harrisburg Pike when an unknown number of people in a passing vehicle opened fire on them.

There is no suspect information available at this time.
