One person dead after shooting in north Columbus

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — One man is dead after a shooting in north Columbus, according to Columbus Police.

It happened around 8:49pm in the 2400 block of Dublin Granville Road.

Police officers on scene found a man suffering from a gunshot wound in the parking lot.

Dispatchers with Columbus Police confirmed the victim was pronounced dead by a responding medic. He has now been identified as 24-year-old Martise L. Maddox-Suddith.

There is no suspect information available at this time.

This is the 118th homicide of 2017 in Columbus.
